Meet farm animals and furry friends from Miller’s Ark petting farm in the MERL garden

We are delighted to be back with our adorable animals at Museum of English Rural Life!

17 August at 12-4pm. Redlands Road, RG1 5EX Reading, Berkshire.

Will your favourite be the cute and cuddly bunnies, the noisy ducks or the lovely, gentle donkey?


Spend the afternoon getting to know all the cheeky characters and having fun in the garden!

You are welcome to come early and have a picnic or enjoy some of the other activities and games in the Museum.

Please book in advance.  Tickets by Eventbrite

See Voo with her little girl Vogue

The first one of our donkeys imported from America has had her foal! Come and see Voo with her little girl Vogue at the next Open Days.
She is absolutely adorable and will be in a pen for you to see on Open Day, along with the our other delightful donkey foals Betty, Rubik, Ola, Clara and Erin.
Bramble our much loved farm cat has had four tiny kittens which is very exciting and our barns are full of naughty goats kids and piglets to cuddle.
